Ying
影
"Ying" - 影, in Chinese it means shadow but also film. This installation is inspired by the shadow theater and expressionist cinema. It is an immersive and participative interpretation of the Chinese poem : 游山西村, which is written in the 10th century, by LuYou. And especially of the following stanza :
"山重水复疑无路, 柳暗花明又一村." : "After passing by the summit of the mountains, having crossed the rivers, even if the road seems endless, we must continue until the next turn, and maybe behind is hiding a new village."

毕业创作作品。
影，在中文里有影子之意，又可延伸至电影，影像。此装置作品启发自传统皮影戏和表现主义电影。其中沉浸式和互动式的内容，启发自南宋诗人陆游的《游山西村》诗中的名句：山重水复疑无路，柳暗花明又一村。通过装置中的汉字部首可理解到：穿深山穷林，驾轻舟渡河，作鲤跃龙门，迎朝阳新日。
